Chris Maccaro is a digital media chief executive with more than 20 years of experience leading sales teams and shepherding both startups and large organizations through the shift to programmatic advertising. Shortly after Penny Pritzker’s PSP Capital purchased a majority stake in Beachfront in 2017, Maccaro was named CEO to help package Beachfront’s decade-long investment in technology and deliver it to a new partner: cable companies. He’s spent much of the past year integrating Beachfront’s MVPD-side technology and enabling new revenue channels for cable -- including unlocking real-time programmatic bidding against dynamic ad inventory in VOD. Prior to Beachfront, he was the VP of North America Sales at Yahoo (Acquired by Verizon), a position he earned after serving in multiple sales leadership roles during his tenure at Yahoo!. Prior to that, he was the VP of East Coast Sales at AOL. Chris lives in Connecticut with his wife Jennifer and three children, but can be found on the slopes of Vermont in the winter and on a fishing boat in Montauk in the summer.
