    Ken Ripley is the VP, Sales for Newsy, overseeing all advertising sales and revenue operations for the news network's multi-platform media channels, currently available in nearly 40 million cable/satellite homes and via OTT on all major connected-TV and streaming services.
     
    With a background spanning the entire media universe, Ken has launched and run sales divisions for Columbia TriStar Television Ad Sales, Sony’s Game Show Network, Discovery Communications Digital Networks and Discovery’s Sales Development Group, DirecTV’s Ad Sales Company, Al Jazeera America’s Sales Team and IGA (In Game Advertising) Worldwide’s Sales and Partnership Group.
     
    Ken has always stayed ahead of the media/marketing curve. At the birth of interactive advertising, he launched and managed market leader TiVo’s partnership group. Today he is recognized as one of the pioneers of advanced advertising and is called on to advise, analyze and promote important new ad technologies involved in programmatic, addressable TV and viewer-created marketing products and platforms.
     
    Ken lives in Darien, Connecticut, has three children and looks forward to the day when college payments are a distant memory.
